Rowan Chapter

Sapona "Deer"

The Rowan chapter is a very active chapter, boasting the most call outs of the 2011 season to date, with 40 candidates to be called out at the district camporee.  The youth of the chapter consist of various lodge leadership roles, including committees and dancers.  We also have our own chapter ceremony team.  At our chapter meetings you may find ceremony practices as well as various native american craft projects as well as upcoming information and ways to be involved in the OA.  Our chapter regularly attends the Carolinas Indian Seminar, and supports all functions of the lodge, council, and district, such as helping with the spring camporee where call outs are performed.  The chapter meetings are held at St. John’s Lutheran Church, located at 200 W. Innest St. in Salisbury.  Meetings are the first Tuesday of every month at 7pm.
